The Splash Foundation was formed in 2015 when the contract between the City of Scottsbluff and Scottsbluff Public School to co-operate the pool expired. We are the 3rd party operator of the the only full size competition indoor pool in the Panhandle. In agreement with and in kind support from the school district, we remain open to the public. We support the Scotts Bluff County Torpedoes Swim Club as well as the Scottsbluff/Gering Seacats swim team. We currently operate 7 days a week for the public which includes lap swimming, swim lessons, water exercise classes, water walking, parties, open swim, and swim team practices and competitions, both for high school and USA Swimming. This operation is done through a volunteer Board of Directors and Certified Pool Operator and a paid lifeguard and instructor staff. We strive every day to offer aquatic activities that support the physical, emotional/social and mental wellness of all who enter our doors, as there is a place for water activity for our youngest guests of 6 months to our oldest members in their 80's and 90's.
*Swimming is the only exercise I am able to do and it is recommended by my doctor. I am grateful for the opportunity to swim and will support this pool as long as I can.
*My grandkids swim on the swim team and it has been so great for them and their family.
*This pool as been here for over 40 years! I remember taking lessons here as a child and now I swim here every week.
*My children went through the Torpedoes Swim Team as young kids and then swam in high school. These were some of the best experiences and I have very fond memories of this place.
*This pool is like my second home!
*I love bringing my kids here for lessons every summer. They do a great job with the little kids teaching them to swim and about being safe around the water.
