Why does my credit card receipt say "OTCF/WyoBraska Gives Day" in the merchant section rather than the organization to which I donated?
This is because Oregon Trail Community Foundation manages WyoBraskaGIVES.org, the website used to process donations for WyoBraska Gives Day. Your donation is initially directed to the Foundation via WyoBraskaGIVES.org. After processing, the Foundation then directs your donation to the nonprofit in the form of a grant, less the above processing fees. This allows the Foundation to issue you an acknowledgment letter immediately upon completion of your transaction.  After all donations have been reconciled, all checks will be dispersed by Oregon Trail Community Foundation to each Nonprofit Organization at AfterGIVE check presentation.
